School Art Exhibition is an excellent way for students to express their thoughts and feelings through drawing. This exhibition was held on 1st December and dedicated to the great victory day, where our talented scholars from both grades 10 and 11 reflected their emotions associated with the 44 days of the patriotic war.
Our columnist Gultakin Mustafayeva (10AA5) took short interviews from both Hajar Novruzzada (10BA1) and Nasiba Rustamli (10CB1), whose artworks glory at our stands.
Karabakh is Azerbaijan!
Hajar Novruzzada
Gultakin: What inspired you to draw this picture?
Hajar: As we have already fought back our lands, I thought that such representation of our actual territory would cause the most powerful and encouraging emotions of the audience. Personally, I, looking at this drawing, experience the feeling of joy and pride for my nation.
Gultakin: How long did it take to draw this picture?
Hajar: 2 days. I drew this picture on weekends.
Gultakin: What makes this art important for our society?
Hajar: It shows how courageous and united nation we are. I still remember those days, and how bloods of our brothers were shed for our motherland, how tears of our mothers were running down their cheeks. It was heartbreaking at places, but our victory was historical. This event once again stamped our strength and clarified that Karabakh is Azerbaijan!
